Abortion - Where Do You Stand ?

To help  stop the anti-life push in the world the late Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen encouraged the spiritual adoption of an unborn child. This is by praying that one particular but unknown child's life be spared abortion and be allowed to continue to live.  to help accomplish this, it was recommended, an individual say the fallowing daily prayer for a period of nine months.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.   The name I wish to give my baby  is:    During your earthly life this spiritually adopted child of yours will be known only Gob but in the world to come it is hoped that you will meet the souls your prayers saved and spend eternal happiness with them.  Jesus may your peace and love embrace the hearts,  minds and souls of the family friends and  loved ones who encourage this abortion and lead them all to your scared and eucharistic heart.

Gracious Father

I thank you for the mercy you have shown in forgiving my sins and for the peace that comes from being reconciled with you and with your church 

O God, you are faithful and you never abandon those who hope in you. I know that my redemption from sin and death has been purchased at the cost of yours Son's blood. In return for the priceless gift, I resolve today to renew my trust in your unfailing mercy.

In times of doubt, when painful memories of past sins threaten to destroy the peace you have given, let the power of your Holy Spirit cast out all self-condemnation and give me greater confidence in your word of pardon.

Teach me to encourage others so they to, too, may seek your tender compassion and come to

know your peace, when nothing can rake away.  

I pray this in the name of Jesus, your Son , in whom you have restored  me to life.  Amen

Annunciation : May all mankind respond to the grace of God..  We pray we will always accept the will of God as Mary accepted thee will of God, in faith and obedience.  We ask that all pregnant  Mothers may feel the peace and love of Our Lord and embrace the new life within them.

Visitation:  May we always respond to mother's and mother's-to-be in love and faith as Mary did when she went to help Elizabeth, who was also with child.  Nay our example of love by our presence here encourage both men and women  too chose life.

Nativity of Our Lord: Weary that we will always see Infant Jesus in every child to be born, and that every mother approaching an abortionist will feel Your love, Lord and consequently, choose life.  From the time Jesus began His journey on earth to the day He gave His kife for our salvation, He showed us how ti pray and love others.  Nay we be there for expectant mothers in there time of need with pray and love.

Predenation: As Mary and Joseph showed obedience to Jewish law, let us be obedient to God's law and always respect life at every stage of development from conception until natural death.  Give us the strength to speak out in defense of these small babies about o be aborted.

ending Jesus in the TempleL As Mary and Joseph rejoiced  after finding Jesus in the Temple, let those who have ben lost to God be found.  Lord, even as a small boy You showed us that we too must be about Our Father's business.  We pray we will always be willing  to help those who have become lost.

Baptism of  Our Lord:  When Jesus is baptized, the Father's voice is heard: "This is my beloved Son".  All are called to become adopted sons and daughters God throi baptism.  We pray that children in the womb may be protected, so that they may be born and welcomed into the  Christian community by baptism.

Wedding Feast at Cana:  Jesus reveled His  glory  by the miracle at Cana.  The new couple was blessed not only wine, but white the faith in Christ.  Let us p[ray for strong marriages , rooted in thee Lord, and open to the gift if new life.

Proclamation of the Kingdom:  "Repent and believe the GoodNews:.  Let us pray that these first words of Jesus: [public ministry may be heard   by all who have committed abortion.  May they know that the Lord calls then to conversion , and they experience life-giving repentance.

Transfiguration:  Christ is transformed on the mountain ,  and the disc[les see His glory.   May the eyes of all people transformed, that they may see each and every human life as a reflection of  the glory of God  Himself.

Institution of the Eucharist:  "This is my body given up to you".  The Eucharist teaches us how to live and how to love.  Let us pray that parents who sacrifice their babies for the sake of themselves may learn to put themselves aside for the sake of their babies.

Agony in the garden:  "Could you not watch one hour with Ne{?  The Lord asked of His apostles  in the garden.  Give us the strength to watch and pray one hour for those about to die.  Let our presence hurter to give mothers the strength to choose God, and choose life.

Scourging  at the pillar:  As Christ was scourged. His skin was torn.  The pain was like a thousand knives.  How like the pain if abortion. By Your suffering , Lord, we ask that these babies be saved from a terrible death.  Let all mothers feel the love You have for each of them.

Crowing with thorns:  As the soldiers mocked You and crowned You with thorns.  You loved them.  Give us the strength and wisdom, Lord to follow Your example.  Let us not0  fear what others say.  Let us follow only Your word.  Let us love and care for all people,.  We ask for an increase of the gifts of humility and spiritual courage.

Carrying  of the Cross:   May all mothers know that  no matter how heavy their cross nay seem to be, that  You are their Lord, helping them carry it.  May every mother know  that as You fell three times, You are there for them when they fall.  You will lift them into Your arms.  You are with each child  carried in the womb.

The Crucifixion:  Lord, we ask to always remember Your words: "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do". Give us the grace to pray for those who reject You.  Let's never turn away from those in the abortion industry.  Let's be Your disciples and pray for their conversion as well as our own.

Resurrection:  Our Lady, Queen off all Saints, we pray that Our Lord will bless and take to heaven the souls of the slaughtered unborn infants, that after their terrible suffering they may see the wondrous  face of Your Son awaiting them./

Ascension:  As we follow the example of Our lady each day, we hear His words:  "Know that I am with you always, even to the end of the world."  We pray that we have the courage to be disciples of Jesus and show  his love for all people by stab=ndung here in defence of life.  We pray that all mothers feel the presence and strength   of Our Lord each day.

Desert of the Holy Spirit:  Give us the  strength and courage, O Holy Spirit, to follow the example of  the apostles.  Though they were fearful, You filled them with faith and courage.  Jesus, through Mary, the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, we pray for a New Pentecost today, that all mothers will be filled with  the fire if Your love and the faith to accept Your will.

Assumption:  Most chased and  gentle Mother, be always  our mode; for purity and   humility/.  Mary, most pure and gentle virgin, let us desire only the will of the Father.  Help us not to seek rewards on this earth, for Heaven is the greatest reward,  Weseek only to dwell in the House of the Lord all the days of our life.

Coronation:  Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Heaven and earth, we pray that all will come to honor your request to make daily reparation for the sin of abortion which so greatly offends your Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart of your Divine Son. 

Father, all life is in Your care.  You have entrusted  us to one another, that we may show our brothers and sisters the same love You have for us.  We pray, then, for the least amount us, the children in the womb.  Protect them from the violence of abortion/. We pray for all those scheduled to die at (name  of abortion clinic).  Save them from death/. Give  new hope to their parents, that they may turn away from the desperate act of abortion.  Grant conversion to the abortionist and to the staff/. Show us how we are to respond to the bloodshed  in our minds, and lead us to the day when this place of death will be transformed into a haven of life.  Guard us with Your joy and Your peace, for in You, life is victories.  We pray in the name of Jesus Christ ourLord.  Amen
